Try this for a few days in a row and see what ‘magically’ happens…
1. Before you go to bed, write down the ONE big outcome for the next day.
The one thing that if your day went to shit, but you got this one thing done, it would still be a success.
2. Get up 30 minutes earlier than normal, have a big drink of water, and go for a fast walk.
Or even better – hit the gym or throw in some body weight stuff.
3. Whilst you’re doing that walk or workout, listen to some motivational or PD stuff.
Listen to whatever you’re into every day… as long as it’s relevant to your big goal.
No news, No FakeBook, or any emails.
For me lately it’s old school Jim Rohn, or Zig Ziglar, or Tim Ferris. Sometimes it’s the grumpy Dan Kennedy.
4. When that’s all done, grab a shower and then do the big thing you wrote down last night.
Then do all the other stuff for the day you need to do.
Something about the writing it down, getting up early, plus extra blood flow feels good.
5. Got kids?
Maybe shuffle it around, do part 1, then part 2 in the living room… Do the drop off or kids breakfast then 3 and 4.
Works for me, anyway!
Yep, super basic, I know.
Common sense stuff…
But the basic stuff usually works.
