Hey guys! It’s Pete here from petetansley.com. Today I want to teach you about the three ways to get new leads.
So there’s really three ways to get new leads into your fitness business… And if you think of it, this is the most important step in your marketing.
It’s the first step in your entire sales funnel.
So what are the three ways to get new leads?
1. Paid Traffic
So basically you think of the most popular ways are of course Facebook.
And then things such as Youtube, Linked-In and Instagram—is catching up—as a way to get paid leads into your business.
So you would use paid ads into funnels and there’s a there’s a variety of ways you can use. And they’re always changing and being updated.
So number one is paid ads.
2. Joint venture
If you’re running a business you want to think who has a similar but non-competing target market.
So if I’m a personal training business, who in my area has a similar but non-competing target?
So I’m thinking florists, anything in beauty, massage, shoe shops, high fashion, car dealers…
Basically anything that I think has a similar but non-competing target market.
3. Prolific Marketing
The third way is free and it’s called prolific marketing.
So we’ve got paid, we’ve got our joint ventures and we’ve got prolific.
So it’s free in terms of cost, but it’s not free in terms of time and energy.
As an example, this right now what I’m doing shooting a video which will become an article on my blog is a free way to get new leads.
I love prolific marketing.
Something I try to do every single day is give value.
So if you think of the famous saying, and I can’t remember who originally said this, but it says…
If we wish to increase our income then we need to increase the value we give. What’s one of the best ways we can do that today is give free amazing content on social media.
Two rules if you do this…
Rule number one is to always make an offer at the end. It could be simply to like these videos and share this blog, comment on the status, or it could be more on hard sell like Click here to apply.
That’s your number 1 with prolific marketing…
And rule number 2 is to actually give value. Sounds simple, but you’d be surprised.
Don’t just put crap out there. Make sure it’s quality, valuable thoughtful and what I call “Edutaining”.
Educating and also entertaining at the same time.
My number one tip for figuring out which is best is to choose one and to nail it really really well.
Become a pro at either paid marketing, or pairing up with businesses for joint ventures because just one joint venture can change your business, or three, prolific marketing.
So what I just showed you are the three ways to get new leads. Number one we have paid. Number two we have partnership or JV (joint venture), and number three we have prolific marketing.
My number one tip is to choose just one and don’t do all three at the same time.
So there you have it guys, I hope you found this helpful and insightful and you can apply it to your business. I’d love to hear from to see which one has been the most helpful and which one are you going to deploy in your business as we move forward.
That’s Pete Tansley, signing off and talk soon. Cheers!
