Hey guys! Pete here from petetansley.com. Today, I’m going to teach you something called, “The Five Ones”.
And what it would do is to help you simplify how many balls would you be juggling at a time and how many projects you have going on. It’s also the fastest way to grow your business. Enjoy!
So I first heard about this from Taki Moore.
And I want to talk about why this is so vital because too many people in the fitness industry take on too much.
They have 15 products, 20 models on to ascend people, so many funnels and ways to get people in. It’s just a little bit crazy, if you know what I mean.
So let’s talk about the 5 ones and what they hold out.
Imagine a pyramid and at the base of the pyramid we are going to divided into five.
At the base of the pyramid, we’re going to call this the target.
Part 1: who is your target market?
The easiest way to think it is who do you love dealing with? Who in the past have you had good success with? Who you like working with on a day to day basis and could do for the next year or more?
So there is your target.
We can then get deeper on that, of course, and look at what keeps them up at night, what the pain is. But for now just choose one target.
Part 2: what is the product?
So we want one product to sell to this one target. We don’t want 5 products we don’t want 10 we don’t want 15 things, we want 1 product.
You know the quickest way to get your credibility through the floor is when you tell somebody, “Hey! I’m a personal trainer, I also mow the lawn on the weekend.
Plus I sell a supplement to help you lose weight and you can sign up to be a distributor.
When you say those three things your credibility just goes straight to the floor. There’s zero cred left!
So instead you want to look somebody at the eyes and say, “I do this.”
I have one product that does this with absolute certainty.
So we’re going two and one so far. Two out of five.
We have got a target and we’ve got one product.
Part 3: the conversion tool.
A fancy way of saying how are we going to sell this target into the product. So for our business it could be a one on one consult.
It could be a webinar. I love doing webinars because I can speak to multiple people around the world. It could be a seminar in person it could be a phone call.
It doesn’t matter which one it is. Just choose one because you want to get really good at it.
I’ve been doing webinars and every time I do a webinar I tweak it I get better I change this colour and that word and this slide.
I’m always always tweaking it so I can become ultimately in the end, a master at webinars.
I’m not there yet but I’m choosing one and I’m trying to perfect it. So when you do the same, just choose one conversion tool.
Part 4 of the 5 ones is traffic.
So there’s only three types of traffic.
There’s paid, as in paid ads.
There’s joint ventures, where you team up with another business.
There’s free or prolific way putting out free blogs and free content.
It doesn’t matter which one choose—choose one.
There are only three options, choose one.
Like the conversion tool, become a pro at whichever one you choose.
Part 5?
And the last of the five ones is, we’re going to talk about 12 months being one year.
Why one year?
Because that takes a long time to get mastery—to take time to get really good at the other four ones.
So what I just taught you on what I call the five ones stolen straight from Clay Collins.
To recap…
You choose one product you, choose one target market, you choose one conversion tool, you choose one source of traffic, and do them all for one year giving you the five ones.
It’s the fastest way to be an expert and to grow to half a million and beyond in less than one year.
