Hey guys! I’m Pete Tansley from petetansley.com, and today I want to talk about the power of doing live video for your personal training business.
Look, there’s never been a better time than right now to do video and Facebook lives for your business:
- To get more leads
- To add new clients
- To retain clients for longer
I want to give you 4 tips today and if you hang around to the end, I’ll give you even more than that–I’ll give you 7 tips to help with your videos and to help with your Facebook lives.
So here are my 4 tips to make your Facebook lives blow up and get you more clients.
Tip#1: Provide epic content
You can’t give away crap and expect to attract “A” grade prospects from it. So keep a record of:
- what your prospects are asking
- what’s relevant in your industry in your particular niche of health and fitness, and
- provide epic content around those topics.
Tip#2: Provide tasty ‘next pieces’
Did you ever heard the saying you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink?
Well, you probably have it. I think it’s wrong because if you put salt in the horse’s mouth, you can make it drink.
So here’s what I mean for you, I want you to get them a taste of a topic…
… Something current, something relevant, something juicy that they gonna buy it and then from an opt-in or they have to a landing page or they have to comment in a video, you provide them with a next step.
Here’s a cool example, let’s say your Facebook live topic is on dropping two dress sizes in a month.
Okay, so you give them 3 or 4 really valuable pieces of content.
Then you say “Hey by the way, if you want more on this comment below ‘yes, please’ and I’ll send you my top 10 tips for fat-loss”.
So that’s a Facebook live video, you can do it on the live and follow up for a few hours or few days when people comment.
If it’s a blog post, same thing, just say, “Comment ‘yes, please’ down below and I will send you the next piece of content.”
What does that do? It builds trust, it gets them thirsty for what’s coming, it’s a next piece, it’s a next step.
So you can provide more content which further warms them up down your funnel, does that make sense?
Tip#3: Insure you’re adding value
So either, got topic has to be epic, like I said on point 1, but you have to be adding value to this person’s life.
Think of your perfect niche, your potential client.
How can you add value to their life.
How can you make their nutrition, their health, their training; simple, more easy. That say need to add value.
Tip#4: Boost them
Tip number 4 on your Facebook live videos is to boost them so once you’ve published them.
Put a nice title and publish it in HD, go back and put 5 to 10 dollars boost on the post to target more specific customers.
This is where your potential clients are. They’re on Facebook.
I think the average is 13 times a day, 13 times a day.
So get on there and boost the post once you published it.
Tip #5: Multiply
So you’ve got a great Facebook live now on your page or your personal walk.
What you do now?
Well, thanks to Facebook you can now press download then you could use that video on your Youtube channel.
You could use that video on your blog and you could share it on your personal page into other groups.
You can share it everywhere.
You could even have it transcribed, written down in words and publish as a LinkedIn article or create some Twitter captions or quotes.
There’s so many ways you can multiply one single message.
So there you have it, my top 5 tips to get more out of your videos and Facebook lives.
